Au Petit Bonheur la Chance

Another place I took my mom that she loved was Au Petit Bonheur la Chance. I went a few weeks before her visit and knew she'd like it a lot. Their web site is under construction, but it's on Rue Saint Paul in the 4th (along with a handful of other great shops). It is such a cute shop and bursting with fun treasures to dig though. They mostly carry vintage kitchen goods, craft supplies, and office supplies. One thing I really like about this place is there's more than one of everything, lots of lots of things actually.
They have a large selection of cafe bowls, linens, buttons, old notebooks and lables. And although the shop is jam-packed, it's styled really nicely and easy to look at everything. I originally read about it in a wonderful book called Paris Brocantewhich is a great book if you're looking for some of Paris's great antique, junk, vintage, and second hand shops.

Hello! I've just discovered your blog and love it. I lived in Paris for a year or so when I was 19 and your photos leave me yearning for la vie en france. Thank you!

Leigh,

One thing you will find is that websites are lacking here. There is rarely a website and almost never an Eboutique. Not sure the reasons...as I rarely trust a store who doesn't have an awesome website. Shop owners just have not caught on here.

I'll have to check out this store once we remodel our kitchen since its in my neighborhood!

Thanks
