A Gem in Georgia: Serenbe

This weekend we went to our friend's Jill and Kristen's wedding at Serenbe in Palmetto, Georgia. The wedding was beautiful and Serenbe is amazing. This gem of a place is just south of the Atlanta airport but seems to be in a world of its own. It's a bit Truman Show-ish, but still, really well done, I thought. Serenbe is a 900 acre space that consists of an Inn along with guest houses, a lake, hiking trails, petting farm, organic gardens, and a community of new homes that happen to be pretty incredible. My pictures couldn't begin to capture the scale and beauty of this place, but here are a few (click on them to see them larger). Check out their web site for more information on the Serenbe Inn and Community. Oh, and I haven't forgotten to show you my scores from the McDonough Flea Market outing--that will be tomorrow's post.
