I'm so happy it's been really nice outside in London the last few days. Spring is here finally! I think it will get a little chilly again, but we're definitely headed toward warmer weather. I will be very happy to put my sleeping bag coat away for a few months. This past weekend we spent the first afternoon in our back garden. We haven't spent much time in our garden since last summer, so it was great to pull out the picnic blanket and soak up the sun. We ate lunch, had some lovely cocktails (which I highly recommend making), and Lois and I started a little herb garden.
I got the idea for the little starter herb garden here (on Pinterest, of course). That one has very cute butterfly markers for the names of the plants. I still need to make something or get something to mark Lo's herbs, but for now I just remember which is which. I think it turned out pretty cute! I wish some of the herbs were sprouting, but I must be patient. I'll post another photo once they make an appearance (fingers crossed they do).
I made some bunting and also a little sign "Lo's herbs." Initially I made the sign with some Lisa Stickley fabric, but it was hard to see the letters from a distance, so I re-did them on burlap.
A local deli in our neighborhood sells eggs in a pink carton, which I thought was perfect for the eggs. Lois planted the seeds over the weekend, and I made the sign and bunting today. I can't wait to show her when she gets home from nursery!

I am so excited that Spring has finally arrived, too! The cocktails look so delicious and refreshing! I may have to make one for myself soon. Lois's herb garden is adorable and so is the bunting!
