At My Grandma's

Yesterday I went over to my grandma's to check out her new house. You might remember that she moved here last year, and moved into my mom's. But she decided she wanted her own house and found a great place right nearby. She's one crafty, decoratin' diva (more about grandma here). As you can probably tell, more is more is her decorating philosophy! Here are some pictures around her great, new house.

    It's so cozy and friendly feeling! There's a Dutch word for that--gezellig--so perfect! I love the tip: Buy what you love! Great advice:)

    I just wanted to drop you a little note to say how much I enjoyed exploring your blog today. As I'm sure you'll see from your stat counter I was all over the place, rustling around as if it were indeed a flea market!!
    I discovered you just today during a Google search for Paris flea markets, having been thinking about visiting Paris again. I visited in July and fell in love with the city - its a bit of a cliche but you know what they say about cliches!

    I could just move into your grandma's house because it looks like mine and my philosopy..More is More. I like to have something beautiful to look at as I turn my eye every inch! Really love your blog and how lucky are you to be moving to London. I feel uplifted seeing your blog on this dreary, cooolllld midwestern day.

    I hope that some day my home looks like your grandma's, full of pretty things that I can look at fondly and that say something about me. I am sure just by seeing these pictures that your grandma is a very interesting and fantastic woman.
