Move over mid-century, now there's something older. I just read this fun article in the NY Times. If this is a trend, it's one that really appeals to me. I can't get into taxidermy myself (too many eyes looking at me), but I love the apothecary collections, ancestral portraits, and the general abundance of collections like the vintage luggage and sporting equipment that these new antiquarians have on display. Great article, thanks for the link!!! I really love the black walls, vintage charts, cases and furniture. But like yourself think I would give the stuffed animals a miss, coud imagine them coming to life at night... creepy...
